I agree with your decision to charge a higher filing fee for E visas because they require more complicated processing. However this would not be true for the accompanying family members of an E visa applicant. Their processing would be similar to the general processing required for all other NIV's, ie $140 or $150. Under your proposed increase, a family of four would have to pay $1,400. This is clearly excessive and not justified as would be the increase to the princiipal alien.
