Office of The Secretary, DOT Docket number OST-2009-0093
Based on research and reading concerns on both sides of this issue, I am in favor of DOT allowing its’ regulation to remain enforced. It is my understanding that air carriers will continue to allow PSD users a way of safe air travel by means of documentation and forty-eight hour notice but DOT also has to consider safe and comfortable travel for air travelers who are not disabled. If the regulation is eliminated, additional safety concerns could raise up to be major, dangerous and or critical to all passengers and air crew.
