Nondiscrimination on Basis of Disability in Air Travel: Accessibility of Web Sites and Automated Kiosks at U.S. Airports

Silicon Valley Independent Living Center (SVILC) is a nonprofit organization run by and for people with all types of disabilities, of all ages, throughout Santa Clara County, California. SVILC is in favor of the Proposed SNPRM -New Rule of the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA), which addresses Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability in Air Travel: Accessibility of Web Sites and Automated Kiosks at U.S. Airports. We also request to have the public input period extended since currently the submission link on the government regulations website is not directly accessible to individuals who use screen reading devices, precluding input from the disability community, and the Accomodation of Time on behalf of the entire disability community. Any time limits on filling out the submission form should be removed.
