Seven out of 10 deaths in America each year are from chronic diseases, and more than 133 million Americans live with a chronic condition such as diabetes, heart disease, or asthma. These diseases are costly to individuals and families as well as the productivity of employees. Wellness programs are an important way for individuals to take charge of their own health and improve their well-being.
