Comment on FR Doc # 2011-24454

I would like to respectfully submit comments on the proposal to remove the requirements for having all gainful employment programs approved by the process mentioned in 600.10(c)(1). We have been through this process and it had been very burdensome for all parties. Our regional office informed us of the lengthy process the new program had to go though and the backlog they experiended due to the new regulations. I believe changing the regulations as proposed will still allow for the approval of failing programs which was the intent of the orignal change. Thank you for proposing these chnages that will reduce the burden placed on the Department of Education and schools.
