PART2: which is adversely affecting my credit and ability to fund my future education at a state university (I am in school now, working towards my bachelor's degree in Political Economics. I will be the first in my family to earn a BA). This is all I wanted. A reputable degree and a career to build on. Since Brooks, I have developed myself into a tax professional, attaining the elite status of Enrolled Agent in January 2013. I am seeking to utilize these skills to open my own tax and accounting practice, to help everyday citizens solve their tax problems. I hope to serve in an advisory or advocacy role with the IRS in the near future.In my personal pursuit of happiness and prosperity via the American Dream, I am happily partnered up and making strides to purchase my first home next year. As a self-made professional, as well as a future entrepreneur and homeowner, I am obviously driven to succeed. Being victimized by CEC's deceptive institution and beset by the weight of student loan debt is debilitating my efforts to progress. It is not fair that I was a student in good standing, who in good faith followed the promise and advice of this dubious institution, to be saddled with debt clearly associated with drumming up capital for profiteering shareholders. A corporation whose deceitful recruiting practices, substandard education, and lack of support has been brought to light in numerous court cases, studies, and articles alike. Why should I be left out to dry with no recourse, with a useless education, played for a fool like many other students? And on a simple technicality no less: because I had a job which just happened to be in fashion, a job I had before attending the college? Is this how justice is supposed to work? I wish I could just talk to Judge Wagner, the appeals judge for the case, to tell him that I am more than a statistic, a technicality--I am a person, a good person who is willing to put in the work to be successful, TO BE CONTINUED IN NEXT COMMENT..
