I would be opposed to changing the ceiling fan we enjoy today. It makes no sense to change what works. My fans pulls .50 amps and a mere 55 watts on hi speed. My fan keeps a gentle breeze on me during the day and again at night to keep me cool. We're overregulated now. Just leave it alone , please.
