Mercury can lower the IQ of children who get does early in life.
Other forms of air pollution cause heart attacks, asthma attacks and other serious health conditions.
The U.S. has 386,000 TONS - TONS! - of hazardous air pollutants that coal-fired plants put out each year. Millions of Americans are affected.
This proposed rule is NOT too expensive! It is horrific to think that the coal companies put their finances above the health and happiness of innocent Americans. Shame on them.
Thank you, EPA, for doing everything you can to protect Americans.
I support this rule.
