public comment on federal register of 11/13/07 vol 72 #218 docket 3004-0014 epa ha oar - attention lynn hutchinson i ask for a hearing in mining country with the entire country plugged in via software or cable tv so that we can see what goes on concurrently with the hearing. it is time that the awful environm, ental living conditions taking place in mining country in the us is seen by all of us. hasnt newmont mining been sued in other countries for being the worst polluter ever where they killed major numbers of citizens in those countries because of ther substandard pollution activities? if that is indeed the case, any petition they introduce needs to be looked at as a petition by a known polluter who seeks to further pollute. i want american citizens to have clean water and clean air to breathe and i am sick and tired of rich mining companies taking advantage of those citizens and poisoning them with dirty water and dirty air. their children are then born deformed and sick - what kind of business is that. no american will vote for any profiteer like that. windblown dust from surface mines is indeed a pollutant and a poison that harms american citizens. the citizens of west virginia and kentucky are being taken advantage of by having whole mountaintops blown off with the resultant sludge ponds flowing into their streams, damaging their wells, poisoning their lungs so they all have black lung. this needs to be stopped. i am sick of our government and politicians taking bribes from these rich profiteers to allow this kind of poisoning of my fellow citizens. people who live in mining country are entitled to clean air and clean water--nothing less. and i want epa to see that they get that. it is awful that these rich mining profiteers are willing to poison every single one of us so that they can retire on $400 million retirement packages. something is desperately wrong in america these days. i do not want babies born exposed to this toxic dust. epa knows the right standards and its about time they enforce them instead of kowtowing to these rich depraved billionaires who bribe govt employees. b.s achau 15 elm st florham park nj 07932
