As regards various pollution problems associated with poultry, NPI has developed
the following solutions: 1) Biofilters to remove ammonia from the air; 2) Use of a
feed additive to remove odors; and 3) Soaking of old litter to remove nutrients for
use in aquaponics. We will be using all the above on our own operations, but it
seems the poultry industry has no interest ---they don't want to make changes in
current practice. Please contact me at my email (npiinc2000@aol.com) for any
details needed.
P.S. NPI also has a solar heated and solar cooled poultry house contructed with
green technology that reduces typical construction costs by half. Some details
will be available on pur website (www.needfulprovision.org).
