Eastman Chemical Company (Eastman), as an initial comment, requests an extension of the comment period currently scheduled to end on January 8, 2007. Eastman has begun review of the November 7, 2006 proposed amendment to 40 CFR Part 60, Subpart VV. Due to holiday schedules and vacations for several key personnel, Eastman will find it very difficult to review the proposed rule and provide adequate comments within the alloted comment period. Thank you for your consideration of our request.
