This voluntary registry is a step towards identifying a vast array of opportunities to make more efficient use of the energy that is already being used. Used appropriately this list has the potential to advance national energy independance and improve businesses global competitiveness. I look forward to registering our sites waste heat information in the hopes that the increased visibility for how much energy is currently being wasted spurs government funding for these types of projects that not only benefits companies but each of us by forgoing the construction of more power plants and having a positive impact on our environment.
