Proposed Rulemaking to Establish Light-Duty Vehicle Greenhouse Gas Emission Standards and Corporate Average Fuel Economy Standards

I concur with the schedule for CAFE standards as listed in Table I.D.2-1 of the Proposed rules. If these CAFE standards are achieved the average consumer will realize a financial savings due to the decreased demand for automotive fuel. These savings will offset any increase in new car prices that the manufactures will pass along to the consumer as a result of the new standards.
