To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to express support for the proposed rule regarding the Toxins Release Inventory Reporting for Facilities Located in Indian Country, Docket ID EPA-HQ-OEI-2011-0196.
The proposal of the EPA to respect the various terms that may be used in the different Tribal governments by using a generic term is respectful of the differences among the American Indian Tribes.
The overall goal of the EPA is commendable – that there is an increased awareness of “potential human health and ecological impacts” that result from the toxins. This is important so that those residents of Indian country are aware of any health risks that may be generated by facilities in the area.
Thank you,
