According to OIGCC's webpage links in the docket, several states report that production facilities spill more oil than other types of facilities. The Docket EPA-HQ-OPA-2007-0584-0015 shows that many facilities would be exempt from cleaning up their own oil spills. My mother taught me to clean up my own messes. Our government should be striving for more, and not less accountability when it comes to matters of the common good.
