Many golf courses use PCNB in a responsible way. To eliminate this product
would mean increased budget costs to an already (budget cut) way of mind. The
proper use of PCNB ensures that our business is ready to go in basically 6-7
month period. So it is very important that we come out of the winter months,
ready to start making money, so we can employee people and give our customers
a product that they enjoy. Being a golf course Superintendent now for over 6
years, I have seen the results of untreated turf. It may be true that other products
may work as well as PCNB, the cost would also be much greater. So what I'm
saying is that the more I have to pay to control snow mold, the less I will have to
spend somewhere else.
