Tolerance Actions: Aldicarb

View Comment

I support the EPA in the continued tolerances of aldicarb for citrus. There is no early season product that matches the Asian citrus psyllid and rust mite residual control of aldicarb. The Asian citrus psyllid is the vector for greening (HLB) in citrus and this disease is a threat to the citrus industry as tree life and yield have been significantly impacted. In the last two years the amount of pesticide used and the cost has increased due the absence of aldicarb for use in citrus.
