public comment on federal register of 8/9/06 vol 71 #153 propylene oxide use and manufacture. l million lbs used in us yearly - far far too much use. needs to be cut down to l/2 this size and worldwide sale should be stopped. this product has the following negative effects on our world: known carcinogen development toxicant gastrointestinal toxicant neurotoxicant reproductive toxicant respiratory toxicant skin toxicant. it is clear the restrictions from what was formerly allowed need to be substantially tightened up and the use needs to go down. i expect that your agency will make the regulations necessary to do that. it is clear that what is going on now is simply poisoning the earth and negatively affecting the health of the peoples of america and this world.
