public comment on federal register of 7/14/06 vol 71#135 pg 40108 epa 2006 0079 frl 8076-9 experimental use permit by arysta life science n.a. to put iodomethane on 1,000 cres in 275 small fields down south (is environmental justice applied here so that poor areas are targeted???) using 75,000 lbs for this new product that nobody knows what kind of environmental havoc it will bring on. have any tests been done in enclosed areas, where only their own employees can be poisoned by this product? or does this profiteer want to immediately use it in an area where people cannot complain? this seems like a very large scale test and one has to wonder whether it is safe to do such large scale testing first. we are given no information on what has happened previously with this product. use of this product on strawberries is not natural. it is to kill off bugs. you killoff bugs, you can kill off people, butterflies, bees, etc. what environmental havoc can happen here. b.sachau 15 elm st florham park nj07932
