This is comment on Rule

Cymoxanil; Pesticide Tolerance

I disagree with this rule. After learning about the dangers of DDT in my Environmental Issues class, I strongly believe in strengthening regulations concerning pesticides. The EPA seems to have done extensive testing, and the chemical seems safe for human consumption. One concern is that men were not tested, only child bearing women. What about the men? In the "Response to Comments" section, it is stated that cymoxanil is toxic to bees, birds, and certain aquatic plants. According to the FFDCA, this is "irrelevant." I would think that the Environmental protection Agency would protect the environment. I would think that they, above everyone else, would not view the loss of nature as "irrelevant." If a chemical is toxic for any living species of animal that it is not intended to control, it should not be used.
