Spiromesifen; Pesticide Tolerance

View Comment

After study of this topic and the standards used to test the Spiromesifen, I disagree with the Environmental Protection Agency in this decision to raise the acceptable tolerance level of Spiromesifen in/on vegetables and grains. I think the date should be re-analyzed, and the decision to raise acceptable tolerance levels in infants/children should specifically be addressed and studied. The side-effects shown in the test animals are simply unacceptable, and if they were to show up in humans, even if the levels were high in the test animals, the results would be catastrophic. I think the investigation should be re-opened, and testing continued and completely exhausted.
