We are against this experimental use permit, which will have negative impacts on Ma'o, our wild Hawaiian Cotton. No one knows the many locations of the wild cotton, as it is in the wild and used as an ornimental in many home sites. The ma'o was used to cross breed with the american cotton because Ma'o was imunned to the beatle. The Ma'o is credited for saving the cotton industry in America. Mahalo nui for this opportuniuty to make comments. Walter Ritte, Chairman Hui Ho'opakele Aina.
