Bde bugs,while not a health threat like vermin, are a serious nuisance do the ease of spread and offensive narure of infestations. People will use dangerous products irresponsibly in order to rid their homes of these disgusting biting insects. None of the products available for use by professional exterminators have any residual effect and frequent retreaments are needed. Residents have trouble complying with the needed prep work making it difficult to eliminate the pest. As an apartment operator, we need the means to control this problem in an efficient, cost-effective way. Residents ultimately bear the expense either directly or through their rent. Many residents of apartments are lower-income individuals unable to deal with repeated infestations resulting from ineffective treaments currently availlable. Please approve stronger pesticides to be used by appropriately trained applicators following guidelines that balance the risk of continued infestation and exposure to the chemicals.
