public comment on federal register of 7/11/06 vol 71 #132 pg 39035 epa 40 cfr part 721 docket 2005 0036 frl 7733-9 mercury switches in motor vehicles mercury should have been banned for use in motor vehicles long ago. it is time that we stop using toxics for auto use totally. all toxics. ban mercury in cars. this notice does not go far enough. at the very least make sure car mfrs have policies in place to reclaim every single bit of mercury used - the cost of that would make them change hopefully. b. sachau 15 elm st florham park nj07932
