The U.S. WTO TBT Inquiry Point at the National Institute of Standards and Technology are submitting a request to extend the comment period of EPA-HQ-OPPT-2008-0252 on behalf of the EEC WTO TBT Enquiry Point. This is to inform you that the European Communities are currently reviewing the draft regulation notified under G/TBT/N/USA/499. The final date for providing comments on the notification is December 07, 2009. The European Communities are requesting that the comment deadline date be extended to January, 15 2010.
