Let's at least wait a couple years to see how this rule impacts the home remodel industry before making it apply to commercial buildings as well. I have a feeling that once homeowners realize how expensive a window replacement just got because of the RRP rule, they'll be up in arms over this ill-thought rule. The last thing the economy needs right now is more rules stifling business growth and making it more expensive to performs simple updates or remodels on commercial buildings.
I can't believe how hypocritical the EPA is for passing the RRP rule in the first place. The amount of new plastic sheeting being thrown into the landfills will be incredible, all because of the RRP.
