EPA has the Energy Star label that covers energy efficient products. FEMP also has a list of energy efficient products called "FEMP designated products" that cover items not covered by Energy Star.
What would be best for everyone (Federal agencies and the public) would be to just have one label covering energy efficient products (Energy Star), one label covering water efficient products (Water Sense) and one label covering sustainable products (maybe "Sustainable Star").
