I dont understand why there arent any regulations on mold being in a rental house I got into a bad situation. I rented from a true slumlord in Topeka KS in March and I ve been through hell. Ive been ill .My sis had to come help me and she has severe asthma and her health has taken a major nose dive since then she is bed ridden 75% of the time .All because she came over to help me.The mold in this dwelling has been there for quite some time the landlord just spackled and painted over it as moisture comes in the cover up just flakes off I was able to shine a light and the roof beams are covere in black mold no one will do anything. I am totally shocked
