The age 60 rule should not be amended to age 65. This will be one more leverage to be used against airline employees, especially in regards to what used to be a comfortable retirement. The European version of this requires an almost astronaut type physical. There are many other areas that could use attention, ie 16-18 hr. duty days, proper crew rest layover times, proper nutritutional requirements for crews. These are the REAL safety issues, not whether some 60 yo pilot can set on his ass for another 5 years, keeping junior pilots from advancing. The commenter submitted this record to the incorrect docket.
