this committee appears to have fallen down on the job since the health status of the us is rapidly approaching third world status. big pharma and big medicine just pass whatever they want to regardless of whether it truly helps health or hurts people. they make money on it if it hurts them for more medicines so the problem magnifies. the whole system is sick right now and is as bad as the sec/wall street mess. it is just as ugly and corrupt. i think we need new faces from outside the beltway to clean up. the insiders have screwed up washington dc royally. it is so corrupt it stinks outside the beltway.
