Attached please find International Water-Guard's comments on the proposed Aircraft Drinking Water Rule. We have reviewed the proposed ADWR in detail and believe that it goes a long way towards enhancing protection of public health against illness attributable to microbiological contamination of aircraft water systems. But we believe that the nature of aircraft water systems is such that onboard water treatment is required to ensure protection against such contamination. Many of our comments address why we believe this is so and also why we believe onboard disinfection will deliver substantial benefits to the air carrier. David C.
