NPDES Rule is supposed to protect our water, and this proposed change is in
response to a court order that EPA is mandated to protect our water from
agribusiness run-off--particularly manure. We need strenthened rules and
regulations, not allowing more latitude in how much in the way of pathogens
(bacteria, viruses, toxins) agribusiness can pollute. We need a STRONGER, not
a weaker rule. The current proposal is so weak as to be meaningless. The people
of the United States expect better.
