I urge the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to move forward with a drinking water standard of no higher than 1 part per billion for perchlorate. perchlorate contamination is a nationwide problem and has health impacts at lower levels than previously thought; protecting infants and children is critical. a national primary drinking water regulation would provide a meaningful opportunity to protect public health.
