The ASTM D7066 and the ASTM D7575 would provide far superior advantages to the EPA 1664. These would allow portable, solventless methods where no enviromentaly harmful methods would be used. Such methods would also allow its application with no need of skilled laboratory technicians and costly lab enviroment.
