As Board Secretary of the Suncoast Surfrider Foundation, I would like to support any regulations that improve the monitoring and quality of our water systems. Our local rivers, bays and beaches are littered with plastic pollution that does not degrade. We support the " Rise Above Plastics Campaign" as well as initiatives to "Ban the Bag and Bottle" in the state of Florida, and across the nation. The state of Florida would greatly benefit from following the lead of California and Hawaii in protecting it's most valuable resource: water. Sincerely, Alexis A. Clarkson
