I support this rule. Phosphorus is a leading contributor to increased nutrient loads in a water body. Increased nutrients leads to excessive algae growth that leads to compromised water bodies. In order to preserve existing water body uses strict nutrient standards need to be implemented. Without these protections we will lose national treasures like the Everglades. The importance of water quality standards cannot be underestimated in my book and I applauded all efforts to create real protective measures to this precious resource.
