SOURCES OFPOLLUTION ARE FEDERAL AND STATE AGENCIES DOING PRESCRIBED BURNS WHICH LOAD NJ AIR WITH MERCURY POLLUTION, AS WELL AS FINE PARTICULATE MATTER. RELEASE OF SUCH VEGETATION BURNING CAUSES LUNG CANCER, HEART ATTACKS, STROKES, DIABETES, PNEUMONIA, ALLERGIES AND ASTHMA. THE PEOPLE IN THIS STATE HAVE A RIGHT TO CLEAN AIR. THE PROFITEERS IN NJ SEEM TO WANT TO AVOID ANY CALCULATION OF THIS PURPOSEFUL BURNING OF VEGETATION SO THAT THEY CAN BURN WITH IMPUNITY. OUR LEGISLATORS ARE BUSILY PASSING BILLS TO LET THE AIR BE POLLUTED. WE NEED TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE A CALCULATION ON THE NEGATIVE HEALTH EFFECTS CAUSED BY PRESCRIBED BURNING, WHICH SEEMS TO BE A PARTICULAR FAVORITE OF AGRIBUSINESS PROFITEERS AND STATE AGENCIES. WE NEED TO STOP THIS PRESCRIBED BURNING, WHICH ALSO HAS GONE OUT OF CONTROL IN NJ COSTING NJ TAPAYERS MILLIONS TO CLEAN IT UP AND SHUT IT DOWN. EPA NEEDS TO TAKE THAT INTO ACCOUNT.
