I find it necessary that the Pennsylvania Clean Vehicle program is approved and becomes federally enforced. As stated in the proposed rule Pennsylvania had many areas in which are nonattainment areas. In the United States we have an issue with gasses and other toxins being released in the air from vehicles. The more populated our country becomes the more vehicles are being driven on the roads. If this proposed rule is enforced then those companies in the business of selling vehicles will be forced to comply with rules that make their vehicle safer for the environment. Any rule that’s in favor of having a positive effect on the environment is a worthy rule and we must take this in fast consideration otherwise our country will remain to decline because the effects we are having on the earth. More states then Pennsylvania should adopt California’s LEV II program, but Pennsylvania taking the initiative to do so is a great step in the right direction of correcting our air pollution issue.
