I was very disappointed that Governor McDonnell of Virginia does not want to take the opportunity to take meaningful action to improve water quality in Virginia and related waterways. The recently submitted WIP was vague and does not give any specific ways to achieve clean water. I hope that the EPA will use it's powers to require Virginia's leaders to take meaningful action. Clean water is important for quality of life. The health and condition of our waterways has enormous environmental and economic impacts for all citizens.
