Comment directed to: Docket ID No. EPA-R06-OAR-2011-0332.
Today I stand for the coal mining community. It is my opinion that the EPA is forcing this expensive mandate on affordable coal-based electricity generation in an effort to ban any future coal plants from being constructed. This mandate will add to the Presidential objective to ban coal fired electric generation and ensure that electricity rates will sharply rise for all American citizens.
I consider this mandate to be an illegal attempt by the EPA to force ill-conceived climate change regulation that Americans do not need nor do they want.
It is my request that this effort by the EPA to shut down coal mining and coal generated power plants stop. The EPA has gone too far with this standard.
Thank you.
