How much are the Detroit automakers paying to you corrupt officials to deny California's emissions and fuel economy controls? To claim that it is not necessry given the new energy bill is a shirking of your reponsibilities, since, California has had this exemption for years, and automakers have made cars for California standards for just as long. It is at least 10% of the US marketplace, and when added to the 16 other states you have a huge portion of the US market. Has GM offered to send your child to college for free? Did Ford slip $200,000 into your off-shore bank? Did the chairman of Cerberus pay your country club fees for life? How much are they paying you?
