After a minimum of study of problems associated with PM 2.5, I have become concerned that perhaps the IM program should not be done away with until all sources of PM 2.5 can be analyzed. In fact I would be in favor of the immediate expansion of the present program to include diesel vehicles. I am concerned about the considerable health risks that the medical community indicates attributable to PM 2.5. The exisience and effects of PM2.5 makes perfect sense. I applaud the Agency for their desire to lighten the burden of government on the citizens of FNSB. However the health risks here seem to far outweigh the benefits to citizens by doing away with the program.
