Regarding table 2 under par (g) (3). In this table ECU PN’s are mentioned which already have the 8.2.R software installed but don’t contain the high risk hardware combination of: 73-0334 (Front Panel Assy conversion) 73-0349 (New Pressure Subsystem) These PN’s are 1471M63P42, 1519M89P32, 1820M33P15, 2121M25P02, 2121M26P02, 2121M29P02. With these PN’s you reduce the engine flame out events due to inclement weather (8.2.R software effect) and still avoid IFSD’s caused by ECU CPU faults since the PN’s don’t contain the high risk hardware combination. Therefore why is a restriction imposed of 60 months or 4500 engine flight cycles after the effective date for these particular PN’s? KLM recommendation Remove this restriction for these particular PN’s.
