§ cost of compliance :
It is specfied in the proposed AD:
-"it would take about 3 work-hours per product to comply with the basic
requirements of this proposed AD........any necessary follow-on actions would take
about 15 work-hours".
according to SOCATA, inspection would take 0.5 work-hour. if necessary, rivets
replacement would never take more than 5 work-hours.
-"Required parts would cost about $300 per product......and require parts costing
$2,000 for a cost of $3,200 per product"
If parts are necessary, only rivets and shims are required and their cost is
negligible.
The costs of compliance of the AD2007-03-71 linked to the SB70-129 original
issue are : "We also estimate that it will take 6 work-hours per product to comply
with this AD........Required parts will cost about $5 per product"
We agree with the rest of the AD.
