During review of SB 747-53A2685, ANA found typographical error in the SB. After discussion with Boeing, following clarification has been made per Boeing message number 1-400030911-4. 1. BACB30BL described in page 20 figure 4 of the SB should be BACC30BL8, and BACB30BL described in page 20 figure 5 and page 44 of the SB should be BACC30M6. 2. Per step 2 figure 5 of the SB (page 41), filler -3 should be fabricated from 2024- T3 clad sheet material, .102 inch thick. However, normal gage is 0.100 inch thick. Boeing approved filler -3 can be fabricated from 2024-T3 clad sheet .100 inch thick. Above information will benefit operators to avoid AMOC during repair per SB 747- 53A2685 (paragraph (g) of 2007-NM-169-AD). Please include these information into paragraph (g) of the AD. ********************************************** Shinichi Yoshizaki All Nippon Airways Structure Engineering Department 144-0041 3-5-4, Haneda Airport, Ota-ku, Tokyo, Japan TEL 81-3-5756-5781 FAX 81-3-5756-5038 E-mail s.yoshizaki@ana.co.jp **********************************************
