The current proposal allow in-shop visual AND eddy current inspection per 72-AG085. At shop visit, the exposure of the intermediate compressor is not always visible for eddy current inspection per 72-AG085. For these situation, please also clarify that the borescope inspection per 72-AG270 is allowed. If not allowed, airlines will be forced to open up the engine more borescope and this will drive up maintenance cost. Thanks.
