This new equipment requirement will do little to nothing to improve safety or reduce airline delays but will severely limit the number of aircraft that can use B and C airspace. There is already a mandate for RVSM equipment and certification for class A airspace. If we need more density in B & C airspace maybe we should regulate the number flights, and spread them out over the entire day. This bill would provide a windfall for equipment manufacturers while providing no benefit to general aviation pilots and aircraft owners. Please turn this rule making down. Best regards, Rick Lundin
