Re: ADS-B Out 1. It would appear that this requirement would cause a large expenditure for equipment that is not yet proven. 2. This requirement causes the purchase of equipment which is far too expensive to sustain/support a program whose efficacy has yet to be proven. 3. This proposal places an untenable burden on a sector of aviation (GA) that really will not benefit from it. 4. What methods were used to develop the FAA's growth figures. Those figures have been highly unreliable in the past. 5. There is no real indication that ADS-B will reduce congestion. 5. This is a VERY EXPENSIVE answer to a question for which airlines already have the answer. They simply are unwilling to recognize that answer.
