I believe that this the adoption that is being requested by the FAA is what is best for the safety of the public. I was a little concerned witht the ending of the adoption of this proposed rule that stated that not correcting the auxillary tank in these aircrafts would result in loss of the aircraft, but this rule did not state the possible loss of life, which should be the main concern in this area. I am amazed at how many safety issues there are with the aircrafts. I worked as a flight attendant for five years and I never really felt unsafe flying, but after looking at some of the problems with these aircrafts, I am a little more concerned, but I am thankful that the FAA is trying to make sure that these aircrafts are safer. I just hope that this will not be along drawn out process and that this will be corrected in a timely manner.
