1.) We ask the FAA to revise the compliance time of 60 months given in para f) of the proposed AD for the modification in accordance with SB 747-28A2292 and in accordance with SB 747-28A2294 for an extension of the compliance time to 72 months. This will allow operators to implement the modification in their heavy maintenance layovers. 2.) We ask the FAA to take the DLH operated aircraft D-ABTC, Prod. No. RT043, Line No. 754, serial No. 24287 out of the applicability of paragraph g) of the proposed AD, because the Horizontal Stabilizer Tank (HST) of that Aircraft was never activated as per Boeing SB 747-28-2197. (In that sense the aircraft effectivity of the Boeing SB 747-28A2294 is not correct.)
